With the arrival of the latest AI-powered technologies like large language models (LLMs) and generative AI (GenAI), there’s a vast amount of opportunities for innovation, growth, and improved business outcomes right around the corner. All of that technology, though, depends on data to be successful.

It was lovely to see so many of the community and hear about the latest data streaming initiatives at Kafka Summit this year. We always try to distill the sea of content from the industry’s premier event into a digestible blog post. Along with approximately 70,000 other souls from around the globe, the NodeSource team attended Web Summit 2023 earlier this month. Famous for being the largest European tech event (or even the world), Web Summit was full of riveting AI conversations, more than 2,600 startups, and plenty of tasty food trucks and, of course, amazing local cuisine.
