When in edit mode and moving or resizing chart objects on your design canvas you will notice a new indicator on the bottom right of your objects containing dimension and coordinate values. The first marking, wrapped in parentheses, represents the location of your object. It starts with the upper left corner of the object measured in squares – using normal grid-based numbering - 0 is used as the first space. As you can see my chart’s upper left corner starts at 2,1 – when counting across from left to right that is 3 squares to the right and 1 square down. The 2nd marking represents the size of the object in grid squares – you can see that this chart object is 10 squares wide by 5 squares high. Knowing the location and size of your objects on the design grid can improves dashboard design and with the placing of new objects on the canvas, and that is your SaaS in 60.
