Summer School At Collaborator: Session #2 - Innovation with New Integrations
Integrations are a key component to Collaborator’s peer review functionality and workflow. With options to connect to more than a dozen source control management (SCM) systems, and other tools such as Atlassian’s Jira and Mathworks Simulink®, Collaborator is an easy fit into almost any tool string, allowing teams to peer review code, user stories, test plans, and other artifact types in a transparent, collaborative framework.
Earlier SCMs were supported through the locally installed Collaborator Enterprise Client GUI which handled review creation, updates, and communications between the local workstation, the configured SCM, and the Collaborator server. Git evolved as a modern repository system, available in many forms today, such as GitLab, GitHub, Bitbucket, and Azure DevOps. Collaborator kept pace as well, with the addition of webhooks integrations to communicate with these new services and to provide enhanced functionality through automatic review creation and updates through the pull request workflow.
Join us as we turn our focus to the wide range of source control and tool integrations that Collaborator supports.
Highlights include:
Overview of version control integrations (SVN, ClearCase, Perforce, etc.)
Modern repository integrations (GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, Azure DevOps)
Additional integrations: JIRA and Simulink
