SmartBear Recognizes Product Owner at Lumen Technologies with Inaugural Women in Tech Award

SOMERVILLE, Mass. — September 17, 2024SmartBear, a leading provider of software quality and visibility solutions, named Jamie McNulty, Lead Product Owner of API Platforms at Lumen Technologies, as the recipient of its Q3 Women in Tech Award. Celebrating individuals who demonstrate passion, dedication, and a can-do spirit in technology, SmartBear’s Women in Tech Award recognizes various contributions to teams and organizations through positive impact, team energy, and skills. To celebrate the exceptional work of its customers, SmartBear launched a quarterly awards program this year to highlight extraordinary achievements in software quality, software for good, women in tech, and developer visibility.

For nearly three years as Product Owner of API Platforms, Jamie has been spearheading various projects, including enhancing the adoption and effective use of SwaggerHub, SmartBear’s award-winning API design and documentation tool, at Lumen Technologies. She has coordinated with SmartBear to host bi-weekly training sessions for new SwaggerHub adopters, organized best practice sessions for long-time users, and provided proactive suggestions to improve training materials to ensure all SwaggerHub customers, not just those at Lumen Technologies, have access to top-tier resources, among many other initiatives.

The winners of SmartBear’s Customer Awards Program are selected based on innovation, impact, and effectiveness of their initiatives. Nominations are reviewed by a panel of judges with expertise in software development, sustainability, philanthropy, Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG), and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI).
