How to build an iOS App Clip, step by step: an App Clip is a small, focused part of your iOS app that people can open without installing the full app.
In Xcode 26.5:
- click the blue project icon
- add a target under "Targets"
- choose the "App Clip" template
- give it one focused job, like ordering a coffee.
Next steps (not shown in this video):
- run it on your iPhone
- test a link or QR code with a local experience in Settings › Developer. 7. Publishing requires an Apple Developer Program membership.
