If you’re not, let me tell you what RAG is before telling you one weird fact about it. “Retrieval-Augmented Generation” is nothing more than a fancy way of saying “including helpful information in your LLM prompt.” Still, there are many ways to do it and many questions to answer when building a RAG pipeline.

The Exception part specifies that any exception of this type or its subclasses should be caught, and the as e part assigns the caught exception to a variable e, which you can then use to access details about the exception.

When an unexpected situation like those occurs, a RuntimeException can be thrown and your app can catch and handle it using a try-catch block.
