In the past assigning permissions and roles to a Qlik Cloud user was a manual process. Now you can setup automatic role assignments directly in the Qlik Management Console and within spaces to users or groups. Allowing that user to access the appropriate resources immediately upon logging into the tenant.

This is a simple example that works with flat json, meaning non-nested json hierarchies. However, you can use a combination of other functions like JSONGET() and JSONSET() to extract needed data. More examples on this to follow.

This week we added the ability to register and transform data that has already been landed by 3rd party tools within Qlik Data Integration, - and we have also added the ability to auto-assign various roles and permissions for users and groups in your Qlik Cloud tenant.
