Four years ago, we started Multiplayer with an ambitious goal: to help teams work better on distributed systems. Since then we've grown to thousands of users, and we reached a milestone I'm especially proud of: open-sourcing our AI debugging agent to put it in the hands of every developer who's ever wrestled with a gnarly bug or waded through PR slop from AI tools. Today I'm excited to share the next chapter: Multiplayer is joining FilingRamp.

Every few months, a frontier AI lab makes a move that says the quiet part out loud: agents are only as useful as the systems they can reach. The latest example is Anthropic's acquisition of Stainless, the company behind the tooling that turns API specs into SDKs and MCP servers. Anthropic's own framing is direct. Agents need to connect to data and tools, and the path from an API to an agent-ready interface needs to get shorter. We agree. We've been making a version of this argument for two years.

Compute is designed to provide leading teams across the globe the same state-of-the-art infrastructure Mistral AI uses to build, run, and scale frontier models and AI software.

We are excited to announce that Confluent has entered into a definitive agreement to be acquired by IBM. After the transaction is closed (subject to customary closing conditions and regulatory approvals), together, IBM and Confluent will aim to provide a platform that unifies the world’s largest enterprises, unlocking data for cloud/microservices, accelerating time-to-value, and building the real-time data foundation required to scale AI across every organization.

Today, we’re announcing that Kong has acquired OpenMeter, the open source and SaaS leader for real-time usage metering and billing. OpenMeter’s capabilities will be integrated into Kong Konnect, enabling usage-based pricing, entitlements, and invoicing for APIs, events, and AI workloads. This is a huge milestone for Kong, and we’re excited about what this means for our customers and the future of how you build and scale revenue-generating digital products for the agentic AI era.
