NodeSource is very excited to announce the addition of Worker Threads support in N|Solid, it’s an amazing new feature for our customers on their journey with Node.js. Worker Threads are a very powerful feature in Node.js that allows developers to build more complex and robust applications.
We are truly excited to release Kong Mesh 1.2 today and introduce three new security capabilities that make it the most secure enterprise service mesh available today. Kong Mesh is built on open source Kuma which Kong created in 2019 and has since donated it to the CNCF. Kuma is a universal control plane for service mesh that is based on Envoy.
TL;DR Insomnia Designer and Insomnia Core are now Insomnia. Insomnia Designer users will have to migrate to the new Insomnia application and Designer will no longer receive updates. When we originally built Insomnia Designer, we didn’t want to make large changes to Insomnia without understanding whether the changes would be useful to developers, with the release of Insomnia Designer we were praised for not making these changes directly inside of Insomnia at first.

Today, we are excited to announce the general availability (GA) of BigQuery materialized views. Materialized views (MV’s) are precomputed views that periodically cache results of a query to provide customers increased performance and efficiency.
The component previewer is a feature that allows you to preview your data at each component step without having to validate packages and run full-scale production jobs. It gives you the ability to extract, transform and preview your data on any transformation component, allowing you to debug your pipeline and/or to confirm and validate your data flow logic. Component previews are similar to the data previews available on source components, which you might already be familiar with.
