Katalon website recently had a refreshed look — as you can tell from the website. Our team has revamped our website content structure, as well as the logos of Katalon products.

We’ve incorporated desktop application (app) testing to Katalon Studio — starting from version 7.0.0. This addition to the tool’s existing capabilities (web, API, and mobile testing) will transform Katalon Studio into a complete cross-platform test automation solution.

Improvements Modular design One of the things we always wanted to handle in OctoPerf is modular design. In JMeter you can use test fragments. So far when you imported fragments in OctoPerf their content was just duplicated over the original Include controller or Module controller. But now not only can you import your modular design from JMeter but you can also create it directly in OctoPerf.

Rainforest QA is a distributed team. We have been distributed for seven years, with have Rainforesters all over the world and a truly global culture. On this seven year journey we have learned many lessons on how to run a global company with a coherent culture. According to the team our offsites are the most impactful thing we do to drive our distributed culture.
